Running Springs Disaster Recovery Center Transitions to an SBA Center

PASADENA, Calif. -- The Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in Running Springs at the Robert Hootman Senior/Community Center, 2929 Running Springs School, will become a U.S. Small Business Administration Disaster Loan Outreach Center (DLOC) on Saturday, Dec. 8.
The DRC will transition on Fri., Dec. 7, at 7 p.m. and open as a DLOC on Sat., Dec. 8 at 9 a.m. with hours Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
SBA Customer Service Representatives at the DLOC will be available to issue and accept loan applications, answer questions about SBA's disaster loan programs, explain the application process, and help each individual complete their application.
The SBA is the federal government's primary source of money for the long-term rebuilding of disaster-damaged private property. SBA helps homeowners and renters, businesses of all sizes, and private, nonprofit organizations fund repairs or rebuilding efforts, and covers the cost of replacing lost or disaster-damaged property. These disaster loans cover losses not fully compensated by insurance or other recoveries and do not duplicate benefits of other agencies or organizations.Businesses or individuals unable to visit the DLOC may obtain information by calling SBA's toll-free number: 1-800-659-2955 (TTY 1-800-877-8339) or visit SBA at www.sba.gov/services/disasterassistance.
