The Office of the Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs, an administrative office reporting to the Vice President for Academic Affairs/Provost, provides leadership for several areas within Academic Affairs: Library, Graduate Studies & Extended Education, Honors College, Undergraduate Studies & Student Support Services, and Special Assistant for Student Policy.

The Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs serves as deputy to the Provost and is primarily responsible for curricular matters and maintaining integrity with regard to the University's Academic Policies. From entrance to graduation, the office is actively involved in West Chester University's students' academic careers in many ways. The office of the Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs oversees program review and assessment, is a liaison to Curriculum and Academic Policies Council (CAPC) & the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE), first-year student scheduling, provides leadership and coordination for the University's Student Success Transformation, reviews all probation and academic dismissals, maintains the repeat policy and grade actions, and oversees major publications related Academic Affairs.
