Chairman’s Inaugural Reception

Due to limited space and frigid January conditions, Congressman Conyers will host a reception in the Judiciary Committee room, 2141 Rayburn House Office Building. There will also overflow rooms. The room will be open from 7am-2pm. Refreshments will be served and the ceremony will be televised on the large screen monitors. Pleased be advised that the lines leading to the Rayburn Building will be long, so schedule accordingly.

An RSVP for the reception is not mandatory, but would be helpful in allowing the Congressman's office to estimate the amount of refreshments needed. You can RVSP via the online contact form in the contact section of the Congressman's website, www.conyers.house.gov

Michigan Delegation Open House

On January 19, Governor Jennifer M. Granholm and Lt. Governor John Cherry will host an open house for Michigan attendees of the inauguration. The Open House will take place in the Montpelier Room on the sixth floor of the Library of Congress Madison Building from 9am to 12pm.
