For students interested in applying to one of the service academies, our office may be able to provide nominations to those who qualify. These academies include:

• US Military Academy (West Point) in West Point, New York
• US Naval Academy (Annapolis) in Annapolis, Maryland
• US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado
• US Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, New York

Each year Congressman Kanjorski nominates a group of candidates to compete for appointment to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, the U.S. Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy at King's Point.

To apply, you must live in the 11th Congressional District and be between 17 and 23 years old.
