Notes: Among cases reviewed in both 2001 and 2002, children in the foster care cases were more likely to have their needs addressed with regard to physical and mental health, than children in their own homes.
With regard to the physical health indicator (Item 22 on the onsite review instrument), reviewers determined the indicator to be a strength in 85% of the foster care cases, and in 78% of the in-home services cases.
With regard to the mental health indicator (Item 23 on the onsite review instrument), reviewers determined the indicator to be a strength in 80% of the foster care cases, and in 65% of the in-home services cases.
