IMP-8 Cosmic Ray Nuclear Composition Experiment

This home page provides listing and plotting of 15-min. resolution data from the Charged Particle Nuclear Composition Experiment, from the IMP-8 spacecraft. These ASCII format data (as they were provided by University of Chicago) are placed at NSSDC's anonymous FTP site nssdcftp.gsfc.nasa.gov in directory spacecraft_data/imp/imp8/particles_uchi/15min_asci/. At this directory a user can find the detailed descriptions of the experiment, data processing, etc., as well as the format of the data records.
