The PubMed class, taught by the expert teaching staff of the National Training Center and Clearinghouse, will cover MeSH, the MeSH database, Special Queries, NCBI, LinkOut, My NCBI, the basics of altering your query display, and more. With over 30 enhancements to PubMed since January 2005, this is a class you do not want to miss.

The National Training Center and Clearinghouse (NTCC), in conjunction with the NN/LM Middle Atlantic Region network office, is offering the FREE hands-on class, hosted by The Frederick Ehrman Medical Library, New York University Medical Center.

The class will be held in the Carlisle Computer Classroom, MSB Room 198B, Ehrman Medical Library, 550 First Avenue, New York, NY.

Directions:
The main entrance for the NYU Medical Center is located at 530-560 First Avenue, at East 31st Street ( map). You will enter the main lobby of the Medical Center.

Go thru the doorway marked 550 - School of Medicine. Walk straight ahead, until you come to the double glass doors marked Joan and Joel Smilow Research Center. This is the entrance for Library Administration, Archives and Carlisle Computer Classroom. Continue down the hallway. On your right, last door before the Smilow Research Center is a short hallway to the Carlisle Computer Classroom.
