Rangeland UsesRangelands uses include a wide variety of tangible and intangible products. Tangible products include forage for grazing and browsing animals, wildlife habitat, water, minerals, energy, recreation, and some wood products. Rangelands produce intangible products as well, such as natural beauty and wilderness. The Forest Service works with a variety of state agencies, other federal agencies, and organizations to manage rangelands use.
