Areas of Responsibility
- Responsible for the consumer health information outreach program in the Pacific Southwest Region
- Develops and provides training to librarians and other health information providers to help them offer consumer health services
- Conducts demonstrations, presentations, and offers support for consumer health resources from the National Library of Medicine (NLM), including MedlinePlus, ClinicalTrials.gov, NIHSeniorHealth, and other NLM databases
- Promotes NLM and National Network of Libraries of Medicine (NN/LM) resources and programs
- Develops partnerships with libraries and community-based organizations for health programming
