Senate Confirms Danilovich to be the Millennium Challenge Corporation CEO

Washington, D.C. —On Friday, October 7, by unanimous consent, the Senate confirmed Ambassador John J. Danilovich to be the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC). Current plans call for President Bush to appoint Ambassador Danilovich to the position of MCC CEO, and then Ambassador Danilovich will be sworn in to his new position. Ambassador Danilovich will likely assume his new duties with MCC in early November. He will continue to serve as Ambassador to the Federative Republic of Brazil until November.
