General Visitors

General Information (See Below for Specific Locations)

Due to limited parking on grounds during the academic semester, visitors and guests are encouraged to purchase a Temporary Blue Permit from the Parking and Transportation Office. Temporary Blue permits are available on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis (up to three months). Visitors may use the temporary blue permit to park at the lots surrounding University Hall and the John Paul Jones Arena. These parking areas are serviced by various University Transit Service bus routes that visitors can use at no cost to get to virtually any location on grounds. Visitor parking will be restricted at University Hall and the John Paul Jones Arena lots for certain events at the John Paul Jones Arena. Please check the JPJ Impact Schedule for restricted dates and times.
