Plains to Peaks Post

Tuesday, September 11th, 2007

The NN/LM MidContinental Region currently publishes our quarterly newsletter, the Plains to Peaks Post, in both print and electronic versions. We know that some of our members appreciate receiving the print copy of the newsletter and so we intend to keep producing the paper version. However, we also know that some other members would rather read the electronic version at http://nnlm.gov/mcr/services/comm/newsletter.html
when they receive notice that it is available through the RML News.

If you would like to continue receiving the print version of the Plains to Peaks post, do nothing and we will continue to mail it to you. If you read the electronic version and would prefer for us not to send you the print copy, please send an email to Suzanne Sawyer at ssawyer@rml4.utah.edu. Please include your LIBID and address in the email.

New Feature to the Plains To Peaks Post Newsletter

Wednesday, June 27th, 2007

The editors of the MCR’s Plains to Peaks Post Newsletter have added a new column to the quarterly publication called “Library Views: Points & Counter Points.” The object of the column is to offer readers points of view from both sides of controversial issues that relate to health, librarians, and libraries. Contributors to the column will come from NN/LM Members, librarians, and other experts. The first “Library Views” will be in the July 2007 issue. The editors encourage readers to contribute their views or to suggest a topic by posting them to the MCR New Blog under the category “Plains to Peaks Post.”
