House Judiciary Antitrust Panel to Examine Consumer Effects of Rising Gas Prices

(Washington, DC)- Today, House Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers, Jr. (D-MI) announced that the Committee's Task Force on Competition Policy and Antitrust Laws will hold the first in a series of hearings on rising gas prices, titled: Retail Gas Prices, Part 1: Consumer Effects. The hearing will be held on Wednesday, May 7, at 11 a.m. in room 2141 of the Rayburn House Office Building.
