Global Warming Hearing on Bush Energy Policy

Rep. Inslee: “What we really need to do is to get our cars to drive on something other than oil. I met a guy in Napa named Shai Agassi…now here’s a guy we ought to be listening to. He signed a contract to totally electrify all the cars in Israel, and soon Denmark. This is what we should be thinking about, we’ve got get off of oil ultimately in our cars, when we do that we’ll have a transportation system that’s efficient. We’ve got to think a lot bolder than we have been.” |
