Resource Sharing and Document Delivery in the Pacific Northwest Region

Through cooperative and consortial agreements in e-licensing, we are working as a region to ensure that all health professionals in the Pacific Northwest Region have quick and convenient access to high quality biomedical information needed for patient care, research, and lifelong education.

Interlibrary loan and document delivery in the National Network of Libraries of Medicine is accomplished through DOCLINE, the National Library of Medicine's automated interlibrary loan ( ILL) request routing and referral system. DOCLINE links journal holdings to efficiently route the requests to potential lending libraries on behalf of the borrower. There are currently over 3,200 libraries from the U.S., Canada, and Mexico participating in DOCLINE.

Need help? Contact your DOCLINE Coordinator, Patricia Devine at the NN/LM PNR office at 1-800-338-7657, or 206-543-8275 or devine@u.washington.edu. Personalized DOCLINE training sessions can be arranged.
