RCSP Detailed Conference Agenda - August 2008

This conference agenda details the plenary speakers, workshops, tracks, and dialogue groups that took place during the RCSP Conference, “Communities of Learning and Recovery” from August 18—20, 2008 in Alexandria, VA. This agenda includes brief descriptions of each session and who presented. Approximately 150 participants from the 23 grant projects attended the conference, including peer leaders from each project.


Conference Report: Emerging Peer Recovery Support Services and Indicators of Quality

This conference report was prepared following the sixth annual conference of the Recovery Community Services Program held in August 2005. Approximately 250 participants from the 28 grant projects attended the conference. The two major goals of the conference were to: (1) identify service approaches that are working well in peer recovery support projects, and (2) reach preliminary conclusions about the characteristics and indicators of quality peer recovery support service programs.


Background Paper: Recovery Themes

This paper was prepared as part of the background material for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration's (SAMHSA's) Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT) Planning Group which met in June 2005 to prepare for a CSAT National Recovery Summit scheduled for September 28-29, 2005.
