Pelosi: President Was Against Pay Raise for Troops Before He Was For It
Washington, D.C. – Speaker Nancy Pelosi issued the following
statement today after President Bush spoke at the White House this morning,
accusing Democrats of not supporting a pay raise for our troops:
"While Democrats have fought for a pay raise for our
troops all along, the President was against the pay raise before he was for
