NATIONAL INSTITUTE FOR LITERACY'S BULLETIN BOARD FOR SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITIONS UNDER $100,000R - Technical Assistance to research and write a 30-40 page reportSupporting Documents General Information CONTRACTING OFFICE ADDRESS: DESCRIPTION: The Institute has a requirement for technical assistance to research and write a 30-40 page report that would apply the demographic lens pioneered in the All One System reports to the workforce and its linkages to the secondary education, postsecondary education, adult education, and post-secondary training components of the education continuum. The required report is intended to examine whether cultivating a stronger link among these components would benefit students and the nation in today's global economy. The report should review and describe the fastest-growing occupations as well as those with the largest job growth and the education and training demands of those occupations. Jobs that require more than secondary-level education but less than four years of post-secondary education are of particular interest. In addition, the preparation the current workforce is receiving should be compared with the requirements of large-growth and fast-growth occupations. The implications of changing demographics on workforce preparation should be considered, especially the demographics of the students pursuing more than post-secondary but less than four years of post-secondary education or training The Statement of Work is available online.
