TO PARTICIPATE IN CONGRESSIONAL BLACK CAUCUS
LEGISLATIVE CONFERENCE


WASHINGTON, D.C. - Attorney General Janet Reno and Deputy Attorney General Eric Holder will participate in the Congressional Black Caucus Legislative Conference on Friday, September 15, 2000. The Attorney General will participate in a panel entitled, "The Drug War: Arresting the Cycle of Disparity," at 10:00 a.m. in 2141 Rayburn House Office Building. The Attorney General will discuss drugs and the criminal justice system, and reentry courts.

At 1:00 p.m., the Deputy Attorney General will discuss hate crimes in a panel entitled, "Hate Crimes at the New Millennium: We've Come Too Far to Turn Back Now." The panel will also be held in 2141 Rayburn House Office Building.
