On May 15, during an event in the Rayburn House Office Building on Capitol Hill, the MCC and the Phelps Stokes Fund (PSF) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding to support leadership and career development opportunities for PSF Ralph Bunche Societies members.

On May 22, MCC CEO Ambassador John Danilovich issued a statement in response to the U.S. Senate’s action to cut $525 million from MCC.

On May 23, MCC CEO Ambassador John Danilovich released the following statement in recognition of Africa Day 2008.  Africa Day commemorates the founding anniversary of the Organization of African Unity, now the African Union, on May 25, 1963.
