MCC CEO Ambassador John Danilovich Offers Condolence on the Death of Congressman Tom Lantos

Washington, D.C.— Millennium Challenge Corporation CEO Ambassador John Danilovich released the following statement to offer condolence on the death of Congressman Tom Lantos.

“Tom Lantos was truly a great American and a tremendous champion for the oppressed. He was one of the founders of the Millennium Challenge Corporation, and we are very saddened by his death today. His strong leadership and support for human rights, national security and the fight against corruption remain an inspiration.

I would like to extend my personal condolences to his wonderful wife Annette and his family, as well as his staff. He will be greatly missed by all of us.”
