Mali Minister Visits MCC
Mrs. Salimata Fofana Gakou, Malian Minister of Housing, Land Affairs and Urbanism, paid a visit to MCC to meet with Deputy CEO Rodney Bent, Deputy Vice President Jonathan Bloom and other MCC experts to discuss the land allocation activity of the Alatona Irrigation Project. The Alatona Irrigation Project will improve rural land tenure security in Mali by allocating newly developed, irrigated land to family farmers, women market gardeners, and farming companies in private ownership.
