Training & Educational Opportunities
Our goal is to promote awareness of and access to biomedical information resources for health professionals and the public. One of the ways we do this is by offering training in the effective use of Internet health information resources, highlighting National Library of Medicine and National Network of Libraries of Medicine products and services.
Request Training
Our staff teaches classes and workshops highlighting NLM and NN/LM databases and services. If you would like to make arrangements or if you have any questions, please contact us at psr-nnlm@library.ucla.edu.
In order for us to teach at your location, the institution must provide the following:
- a computer lab with individual workstations for 1-2 attendees each
- an instructor workstation
- a minimum of 10 attendees
