VANCE AFB Training Mission Alert

 The VANCE AFB Safety Office would like you to be aware of their training operations so that you "DON'T MEET BY ACCIDENT". Vance AFB trains over 475 pilots a year in four different high performance aircraft. Training missions typically occur Monday - Friday from sunup to sundown but also occasionally include night training. Military Training Routes (MTR) may contain multiple military aircraft operating from 500 to 3000 feet AGL at speeds up to 400 KIAS. You are requested to contact Vance approach control if your flight path will put you in close vicinity to VANCE AFB. the T-6 and T-38/T-1 MOAs, Military Training Routes, or Kegelman Auxiliary Field. All are depicted on the MACA poster in additional to Vance AFB frequencies. It is strongly suggested that you contact the Vance Safety Office, Flight Service, or ATC before flying through these areas   MACA route poster -  .http://www.vance.af.mil/safetymap.asp
