Summary

The National Network of Libraries of Medicine consists of more than 5,000 member institutions, including libraries of medicine and other organizations with an interest in NN/LM's mission. The Members Directory is a database that includes records of NN/LM's members, their services, and how to contact them.

The Members Directory is a subset of data from NLM's DOCLINE® system. The data set is imported from NLM to the NN/LM servers every night, and access is provided to the public via the Members Directory interface.

For help with this service, see the help pages located here.

Intended Audience

The Members Directory is available for anyone who is interested in learning what resources are available from NN/LM medical libraries and other NN/LM-affiliated members.

There are two pages by which one may search the Members Directory: Basic Search (to find members in a particular state or that provide a particular library service) or Advanced Search (which offers many more options than the Basic Search). Both search forms display their results on a Results page, which in turn provides links (marked as "Show Details") to a detailed profile for the network member, and to a map showing the member institution's location (when possible).
