LinkOut
How would you like to be able to link your patrons to your print holdings or to be able to directly connect your patrons to your electronic journals as they conduct their research?
Sound impossible?
It's not with LinkOut.
LinkOut, a service of the National Library of Medicine, allows a library to mark specific entries in the Entrez databases (i.e. PubMed and other NLM resources) that correspond to the library’s own print and electronic journal holdings. In other words, a patron can immediately identify whether or not a participating library has access to the specific resource that he needs.
