Evaluation Sites on the Web
Outreach Evaluation Resource (OERC) at the Pacific Northwest RML.
The OERC "will facilitate effective use of planning and evaluation in the NN/LM by conducting continuing education activities, providing access to Web-based educational materials, providing information and consultation, and encouraging communication between NN/LM regional offices to foster learning and support regarding best practices. In doing so, the OERC will work with all Regional Medical Libraries (RMLs) and various other Network libraries as appropriate."
Measuring the Difference
This 130-page guide is a primer (including tools and resources) for planning and evaluating health information programs. It was developed by the National Network of Libraries of Medicine, Pacific Northwest Region and the National Library of Medicine.

The WK Kellogg Foundation
The Kellogg Foundation "views evalatuion as a tool for learning how to do our work better." This site offers information about approaches to evaluation, questions, creating an evaluation plan, budgeting and managing an evaluation project. You can also order free copies of the Logic Model Development Guide and the Evaluation Handbook - two excellent resources for the novice evaluator. Both can also be downloaded as pdf files.

Outcomes Toolkit Version 2.0
A four step process developed through a partnership of the University of Michigan School of Library and Information Science and the University of Washington School of Information. The four steps are:

Each step is discussed and is accompanied by exercises.
Evalued - a toolkit for e-library developments
A British site " designed to support information services staff in Higher Education Institutions with the evaluation of electronic information services." Four sections address how to evaluation with a step by step guide to the process, information and tips on evaluation themes, a tools archive including questionnaires, interview questions, checklists and statistics for various themes, and a site to create custom tools based on those in the toolkit.

THRIVE: A Community Approach to Address Health Disparities
Prevention Institute is updating its Community Approach to Addressing Disparities in Health with the revision of THRIVE: Toolkit for Health and Resilience in Vulnerable Environments. A centerpiece of THRIVE is a set of community level factors that are linked to Healthy People 2010 Leading Health Indicators.
