Welcome to the NRAO in Green Bank, West Virginia
NRAO operates the Robert C. Byrd Green Bank Telescope (GBT), the world's largest fully steerable single aperture antenna. In addition to the GBT, several other telescopes exist at the Green Bank site.

The Wednesday, November 19 edition of the Washington Post carries a well researched article about one person's tour of the Green Bank Observatory and its location in the National Radio Quiet Zone.
