- Purpose:
- To survey and record the perceived unique and critical factors that impacts the utilization and expansion of interfaces within the agency.
- To search out factors that may pose limitations or restrictions to projected or planned growth relative to interfaces within the agency
- If unique factors are found to exist that pose restrictions or limitations on the agency, this documentation will serve to direct strategy planning to address the problem.
- This information will be utilized in formulation of a strategy plan for CSE as a summary of potential unique factors to be considered in the information technology process.
- Instructions:
- Complete the following questions for each interface process within the CSE organization.
- Because various technical individuals polled may have different perceptions about the "uniqueness" of the factors, it is recommended that several individuals be polled to determine a consensus opinion with respect to the unique factors.
- Questions to be considered in determining if your technical organization has unique factors that may restrict or limit the projected or planned growth relative to interfaces within the agency:
- Is there any current consideration of merging or separating of the CSE organization?
- Is there any current consideration or plans for significant expansion of workers through privatization?
- Is there any current or planned consideration for mass replacement of technology equipment?
- Is there any current or planed consideration for replacement of hardware systems or software applications systems?
- Is there any significant factors related to experienced personnel to support the CSE system?
- Is there an acute shortage of experienced personnel to support the CSE system?
- Is there a moratorium on expansion of systems?
- Is there a moratorium on expansion of support personnel for systems?
