TANF Reporting Worksheet

Purpose:

  1. To survey and record the perceived accuracy and completeness of the data involved in the reporting interface process, whether sent or received.
  2. To determine what data elements for reporting requirements are currently absent or inaccurate in the interface system.
  3. To determine known reporting requirements that are soon to be required or mandated.
  4. To provide a reference document to use in determining actions needed to modify or update existing interface processes to meet minimum or expected needs of the TANF organization.

Instructions:

  1. Complete the following table for each interface process within the TANF organization.
  2. It is recommended that you survey both program staff and technical staff in order to deliver a comprehensive document.
  3. It is recommended that you incorporate known future reporting requirements into the document to provide a clear understanding of the ability of the interface to meet the reporting needs of the TANF organization.
  4. Upon completion of the worksheet, it is recommended that you compile a summary document that lists the reporting deficiencies.
  5. Use this information in formulating a strategy plan for TANF as a summary of interfaces needing update or replacement
