In March 2007, the Kaiser Family Foundation began conducting a new series of tracking polls on the public’s views of health reform and the presidential candidates’ positions on health care. Through the Kaiser Health Tracking Poll: Election 2008, Kaiser is tracking changes in the saliency of health as a political issue and policy priority, what the public's priorities are for a health reform plan, and whether any candidates are breaking through with the public with their health reform plan.
Results from each tracking poll are available below. The polls are available through the Foundation's health08.org Web site, which serves as a hub of information about health and the election, including original content produced by Kaiser and easy access to health-related resources from the campaigns, other organizations, and news outlets. Other Kaiser polls are available online.
