WVU Vein Center
The WVU Vein Center offers a new, minimally invasive technique to improve varicose veins. The VNUS Closure procedure is performed on an outpatient basis, and often takes less than an hour from start to finish.
Weight Loss Surgery
For people who are severely obese (those who have a Body Mass Index of 40 or higher, or are at least 100 pounds overweight) weight loss surgery can be an effective and safe option. WVU's Bariatric Surgery program is accepting patients.
West Virginia Prescription Drug Abuse Quitline
Prescription drug abuse is an increasing problem in West Virginia. To help stem the drug abuse epidemic in the state, the WVU School of Medicine has launched the West Virginia Prescription Drug Abuse Quitline.
