U.S. Troop Readiness, Veterans' Health and Iraq Accountability Act

Last November, the American people clearly called for a new direction in Iraq.  The U.S. Troop Readiness, Veterans' Health and Iraq Accountability Act, to be debated on the Floor this week, answers that call.  It provides our troops with the equipment they need, holds the Bush Administration and the Iraqi government accountable to the President's own benchmarks, and refocuses on Afghanistan and the war on terror.
