Any comments before we start. Madam Secretary, would you like to begin. ANNETTE VIETTI-COOK: We have two items for affirmation. The first item is on Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station and Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station. The Commission is being asked to act on a Memorandum and Order responding to two appeals by Massachusetts Attorney General concerning fire hazards in high-density spent fuel pools. These appeals were filed with respect to the separate decisions of two Atomic Safety and Licensing Boards (LBP-06-20 and LBP-06-23) in two license renewal proceedings. The Commission has voted to approve a Memorandum and Order which affirms the Licensing Boards' decisions in LBP-06-20 and LBP-06-23. Would you please affirm your votes? CHAIRMAN KLEIN: Aye. ANNETTE VIETTI-COOK: The second item is on Exelon Generation Company Early Site Permit for Clinton Early Site Permit. The Commission is being asked to act on an Order requesting comments on the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board's Decision authorizing issuance of the early site permit for the Clinton site. (LBP-06-28) The Commission has voted to approve an Order which sets a schedule to provide briefs for the Commission's consideration. Would you please affirm your votes? CHAIRMAN KLEIN: Aye.
