The Commission approved an Order responding to a request for hearing and petition for leave to intervene, which included a "Petition for Backfit Order," filed by the Massachusetts Attorney General in reference to the license renewal proceedings at the Pilgrim and Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Stations. The Order denies the petitions for backfit order.
(Subsequently, on October 10, 2006, the Secretary signed the Order.)
