| SUBJECT: | STAFF REQUIREMENTS - SECY-00-0203 - FINAL REGULATORY GUIDE ON IMPLEMENTATION OF 10 CFR 50.59 (CHANGES, TESTS, AND EXPERIMENTS) |
The Commission has approved the publication of Regulatory Guide (RG) 1.187, "Guidance for Implementation of 10 CFR 50.59, Changes, Tests, and Experiments," as provided with SECY-00-0203, which endorses NEI 96-07, Revision 1, dated September 22, 2000.
Since the Differing Professional View discussed in SECY-00-0203 has been dispositioned, the RG should be issued without further revision with regard to the issue of fire protection.
