Link disclaimer"ONE BOOK" READING PROMOTION PROJECTS

One Book" projects (community-wide reading programs), initiated by the Washington Center for the Book in 1998, are being introduced across the U.S.A. and around the world. See below a state-by-state listing of past and current "one book" projects. You can also view projects by selected authors. Though we recognize that one book projects exist in schools, we are unable, at this time to include them in our listing. We are only able to post information for one book projects that involve broad community participation of a city, town, county or region. To submit updated information or inquire about being considered for a listing, contact the Center for the Book. For HOW TO information, go to "Seattle Reads". Also go to the ALA Public Programs Office and click on "One Book, One Community Digital Resource CD" for a link to the pdf version of their handy planning guide.

TBR following some author/title entries refers to "The Big Read" See also Other "One Book" Resources.
