How is Reclamation increasing transparency?

Transparency in its business practices is another outcome of Managing for Excellence that Reclamation is implementing.  Examples of items that Reclamation is implementing to become more transparent in its business practices include:

Making the Reclamation Manual Policies and Directives and Standards readily available on the internet and providing a process that allows for review and comment on all draft Reclamation Manual releases.

Developing a documented process to determine the need for major repairs that includes customer involvement throughout the process while recognizing the need for flexibility to account for project-specific conditions.
