Some CDRH documents are in Portable Document Format (PDF), with a hypertext link to the electronic version of the PDF document. A free PDF reader, called Acrobat Reader, is available from Adobe Systems, Inc. It allows you to view, navigate, and print PDF files.
You can check if Acrobat Reader is installed using this simple test.
We recommend that you check to make sure you have downloaded the most current version of Acrobat Reader. There may be some problems with documents when read with older versions of Acrobat Reader. Please report any problems reading documents by using the Comment button below.
The Reader is available for most operating systems. Detailed instructions for downloading and installing it are available at http://www.adobe.com
We have noted problems viewing pdf files while using the Internet Explorer (IE) browser. Microsoft acknowledges that there are problems with IE 4.0 and pdf files. We have also seen evidence of this problem with 3.0. If you are experiencing problems, we suggest you download the pdf to a disk or hard drive, then open Acrobat Reader to view the file locally.
When printing a pdf document, select "Shrink to Printable Area " from the Page Scaling dropdown list within the section titled Page Handling, in order for the full page and margins to print properly.
