Schwetz Food and Drug Administration 5600 Fishers Lane Rockville, MD 20857 Dear Bernard A. Schwetz, I just cannot belive you want to change the labels of irradiated foods. Aren't people confused enought? Every American has the right to be able to understand what's one buys. If you introduce the new misleading labels you will take this right away from us. We have the right to know what is in the food, and how it was prepared. Irradtited foods doesn't taste the same, and it might even be harmful to our health. I wish to have a choice in whether I buy it or not. The only way to do it is to clearly informy me of whether a given food item was irradiated or not. Sincerely, Roman Pawlak 4113 Hunters Rigde Dr. Apt.13 Huntsville, Alabama 35802
