Fryzel to Appear on CNBC and Fox Business Network Today

December 9, 2008, Alexandria, Va. – National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) Chairman Michael E. Fryzel will appear today, December 9th, on the CNBC  and Fox Business Network.

Fryzel will be unveiling initiatives of the Credit Union Homeowner Affordability Relief Program (CU HARP) and Credit Union System Investment Program (CU SIP).The segments will air today, CNBC at 1:40 p.m. EST and Fox Business Network at 2:20 p.m. EST.

The National Credit Union Administration is the independent federal agency that regulates charters and supervises federal credit unions. NCUA, with the backing of the full faith and credit of the U.S. government, also operates and manages the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund, insuring the deposits of over 88 million account holders in all federal credit unions and the majority of state-chartered credit unions.
