To whom it may concern,
I am writing to urge you to grant petition 98P-0151/CP1 to stop the slaughter of downed animals. 
Animals suffer enough for our purposes, the treatment of downed animals is a form of abuse. They are left to suffer for hours, and treated like inanimate objects. They are not, they have feelings of fear and pain. You have the power to do something you can be proud of. Stop this abuse now.
