After reading Assemblyman John Kelly's letter to the FDA regarding the lack of testing for fluoride, I felt strongly that I should add my voice to the din of concern. Legislators in my area are currently working (Senate Bill 99) to have the water supply of my city (Portland, Oregon) fluoridated. I vehemently oppose this idea for several reasons, primarily: 1) The FDA has not studied and approved this process, and the possible health risks of water supply fluoridation need to be studied further. 2) We should not spend our public funds on programs that have not been proven to be worthwhile. Thank you for your attention. Matt Reeves 2015 NW Kearney St. #201 Portland, OR mmrtech@yahoo.com
