Subject: PROHIBIT SLAUGHTER DOWNED ANIMALS


TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

i AM writing to support the petition to slaughter downed animals  These
animals are sick or injured and should NOT ENTER THE HUMAN FOOD CHAIN. 
There is increased risk of bacterial contaminaiton and evidence that some
of the downed animals may be afflicted with bovine spongiform
encephalopathy...MAD COW DISEASE causing humans to encounter this dread
disease.
