Rep. Miller Announces 2006 U.S Service Academies Appointees
REP. MILLER ANNOUNCES 2006 U.S. SERVICE ACADEMIES APPOINTEES
WASHINGTON, DC – Rep. George Miller (D-Martinez) today announced the names of twelve appointees to the U.S. service academies from the seventh Congressional district.
“These young people deserve great credit for their academic, athletic, and extracurricular achievements,” said Miller. “I am proud to be able to appoint them to the U.S. service academies, and I know that their greatest achievements are ahead of them.”
Miller’s Academy 2007 principal and alternate nominees are:
US Air Force Academy:
Principal: Hunter Van Stetsen, Benicia-Benicia High
Competitive Alternates:
David Billeci, Pittsburg, Pittsburg High
Gabriel Dimalanta, Vacaville-Armijo High
Kyle Jensen, Vacaville-Will C. Wood High
James Leli, Fairfield-Justin-Siena High
US Naval Academy:

Each year, Members of Congress appoint outstanding high school students to the U.S. Military, Naval, Air Force and Merchant Marine Academies. The seventh Congressional district includes parts of Contra Costa and Solano counties.
