Dear Sirs,
Again the goverment is going (passing laws) where the Constitution does not go. I have lost 53 pounds using the proper does (less than 50mg daily) of an ephedra based product and know of hundreds of others that have done likewise. Because someone else overdoses, does not read warnings, or is alergic to a product does not represent a health problem to the millions (25-40 million) of DAILY users! The recent death of the baseball player was abuse, and according to his mother, had twice before been hospitalized for heat stroke in his youth - before ephedrine was on the market. Thomas Simpson

Unless we put medical freedom into the Constitution, the time will come when medicine will organize into an undercover dictatorship...to restrict the art of healing to one class of men, and deny equal privilege to others, will be to constitute the Bastille of medical science.
