Dear Sir/Madam:
I work for a Natural Foods distributor and have been in the industry several years.Both my customers and I fully appreciate the significance of the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994 with regard to protecting our right to choose how we care for ourselves.
I am concerned the FDA is jumping the gun with regards to the DSHEA and possible additional legislation that is proposed. We do not need more Government involved in our everyday lives to monitor our every need.What we do need is to let the DSHEA stand on it's own merits. With the existing regulations, the FDA has enough authority to seize any dietary supplement it deems necessary!
Please look at our existing regulations before implementing more laws that the American public does not need.
