TWA FLIGHT 800 MOVEMENT OF FUSELAGE RECONSTRUCTION

(NOTE: this supercedes the advisory issued 8/24/99)

Due to logistical considerations, the movement of the reconstructed section of the TWA flight 800 aircraft scheduled for Thursday, August 26, 1999, at 8:30 a.m., has been postponed.

For the time being, the reconstruction will remain in the hangar at the Calverton, Long Island facility where it currently is housed.

The movement of the reconstruction will be rescheduled for sometime next month. Another advisory will be issued when a new date and time for the move have been selected.

The Safety Board regrets any inconvenience this postponement may have caused.
