UPCOMING SPEECHES/TESTIMONY TO BE DELIVERED BY NTSB CHAIRMAN JIM HALL

National Transportation Safety Board Chairman Jim Hall has released the following schedule of speeches and testimony for the month of August:

August 3: Testimony before the House Subcommittee on Aviation, Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure. Subject: Pilot fatigue.

August 17: Air Carriers Purchasing Conference, Marriott Riverwalk Hotel, San Antonio, Texas. Representatives from 750 vendor companies and 80 airlines are expected to attend this conference.

August 18: North Texas Transportation Summit, Omni Mandalay Hotel, Irving, Texas. The summit will be attended by government, transportation and economic leaders from the region.

August 24: International Society of Air Safety Investigators, Hyatt Harborside Hotel and Conference Center, Boston, Massachusetts. Approximately 300 delegates from around the world are expected to attend this conference.

August 27: U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary National Conference, Omni Rosen Hotel, Orlando, Florida. Some 350 auxiliary leaders nationwide will attend this conference of the civilian support group for the Coast Guard.

August 30: National Association of Governors' Highway Safety Representatives, Marriott Rivercenter Hotel, San Antonio, Texas. Several hundred State highway officials will attend this annual meeting to discuss highway safety challenges for the coming years.
