NTSB’S FINAL REPORT ON CRASH OF USAIR FLIGHT 427 AVAILABLE ON WEB


WASHINGTON, D.C. - The National Transportation Safety Board’s final report on the crash of USAir flight 427 is now available on the Board’s web site. Printed copies will be available in a few weeks.

On March 24 of this year, the Safety Board concluded the longest aviation investigation of its 32-year history by adopting a final report on the crash of the Boeing 737 on September 8, 1994, near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The crash killed all 132 persons aboard the plane.

A complete copy of the Board’s report may be accessed on http://www.ntsb.gov under Publications. The report is in the Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) and requires the Acrobat Reader.
